The family-run traditional company ASSMANN has specialized in the production of IC sockets and insulation displacement connectors.

The company history of the ASSMANN family goes back to the 18th century. Once a manufacturer of buttons for the clothing industry and medals for the military, ASSMANN & Söhne distinguished itself in the 20th century as a pioneer in the field of cooling technology.

Parallel to ASSMANN & Söhne, the company ASSMANN KG was founded in 1969, which was involved in the manufacture of IC sockets and insulation displacement connectors in the field of electromechanics. Following the merger of the two product areas, a further product segment developed: computer and network peripherals, which has continued to develop under the leadership of the sons to this day.
