We are pleased to present the new connectors with their vertical plug-in connection and 2.0 mm pitch from our long-standing manufacturing partner KYOCERA AVX. The components are now available with two to eight positions. This and their outstanding other properties make them suitable for a very wide range of signal and current capabilities. They also enable error-free mating and proven high performance - even in particularly adverse industrial, medical and consumer electronics applications.

New seven and eight position models

As the world's leading manufacturer of electronic components, KYOCERA AVX is constantly helping to accelerate technological innovation. The robust and very user-friendly 9155-800 series battery connectors have been designed with this in mind. They have a vertical connection and a 2.0 mm pitch. The series has recently been expanded to include new models with seven and eight positions. The reason for this was the increased customer demand for higher signal and current capabilities.

Strong contact geometry with these battery connectors

Users will particularly appreciate the unique contact geometry. This deforms cleanly when a module, mating connector or PCB is pushed vertically into the correct position. This enables complete, vertical engagement in pluggable modules without the risk of contact damage.

This is where the electronic component has decisive advantages, because with conventional battery connectors the user has to engage the contacts before turning the mating module or the circuit board into the correct position in order to reliably prevent contact damage. This is not necessary with the new 9155-800 series from our long-standing GUDECO partner KYOCERA AVX. Instead, these connectors can be plugged in from any angle.
