These advanced electronic components are equipped with two solderless contact technologies: Beryllium copper compression contacts and insulation displacement contacts (IDC). This combination enables reliable, high-integrity connections for demanding applications in automotive, industrial and consumer electronics.

Key features of the new 9169-000 Series connectors:

• Number of contacts: 2 to 10 contacts with a 2.5 mm pitch
• Plating: Gold or pure tin in the contact area
• Wire diameter: 22-28AWG, solid or flexible
• PCB thickness: 1.6 mm with gold or tin plating
• Insulators: Glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) in eight colors: White, black, orange, green, red, yellow, blue and brown
• Electrical power: 100VAC (RMS) or equivalent DC voltage, up to 3A for variants with 2-6 contacts, up to 2A for variants with 7-10 contacts
• Temperature range: -40°C to +130°C

Highly reliable, easy to install

The new 9169-000 Series connectors have been specially developed for harsh environments and offer excellent electrical and mechanical performance. They feature a polarizing rib that prevents insertion errors and double-sided locking mechanisms that ensure a strong mechanical retention force.

In other words, these connectors are ideal for many applications, for example in automotive and transportation lighting, solid state lighting, industrial and consumer electronics applications.
